Mission: To take in homeless collies on a small scale basis (I only foster one or two dogs at a time.)  To provide contacts and transportation assistance to other available collie rescues.  To provide information and resources for collie owners.

History: I had been fostering for a collie rescue for several years before moving to Kansas.  I got involved in an area all-breed rescue here and developed many contacts for many different breeds, but prefer to foster collies and other herding breeds since I am most familiar with their needs.  I started my own rescue in 2006 and am a resource for the collie owner who is not able to keep their collie, but may not want to surrender their collie to a humane society where it would have the chance of being euthanized.  I do foster a limited number of collies and adopt them to screened, appropriate homes, and provide support and referals if I am unable to provide immediate assistance to the collie in need.
